Climates make the biggest difference. In colder climates or northern states, the Christmas wreath will last through March. In southern dry climates or southern states, the Christmas wreath will last through the middle of January. Always try to place your wreath outside. If you place your wreath inside it will last about 3 weeks. Word of advice for a long lasting wreath in warmer climates: spritz the back of the wreath with water every two to three days. Noble fir will drink the water and you will find your wreath to be more fragrant and to last longer.

The metal frame on the back of the wreath will support a nail or screw on your door or side of your house. Any wreath hanger can be used if you don't want or can't put a nail or screw in your door. A word of advice if using a hanger: wrap the hanger with plastic wrap so your significant other doesn't get upset when it scratches your door and he or she has to repaint it next spring. If you don't, you can't say we didn't warn you! Take a moment to view our selection of Wreath Hangers.
Most of the boughs we use are highland noble fir. These have an incredible blue appearance on the outer needles and are very attractive in Christmas wreaths. The boughs are cut from trees 15 to 30 years old. Trees produce a bough that can be harvested every two to three years. Washington State Department of Natural Resources has been making an effort for many years to manage noble fir growing areas and improve this reusable resources program. We have a select number of lowland farmers we buy our boughs from. Currently we have 2,500 Christmas trees and bough trees on our farm. They are a few years old; not old enough to harvest, but growing strong.
We provide care information for both our Christmas wreaths and centerpieces. The information about how to care for your Christmas wreath is printed on the box they are shipped in. For centerpieces, we insert a care card within each box. If it's a gift, it's easy for the recipient to understand how they should take care of their present.
The diameter of our Christmas wreaths measure approximately 26 inches, the perfect size for an exterior or interior three-foot-wide door. Total finished weight of the Christmas wreaths will be between six and seven pounds. Our Christmas wreaths are very full and fluffy with a three dimensional quality that makes them attractive from all angles. They are thicker and fuller than most Christmas wreaths you see on the market, allowing the decorations to be incorporated into the wreath.
Honestly... NO! It will look better. All Christmas wreaths are inspected twice for integrity and design qualities before shipping. We will not ship a wreath that we would not hang on our own door. If you are not completely thrilled with your wreath, CALL US, complain, yell, scream, get mad, whatever you want. We will make every effort to make it right. You are ordering directly from our farm and not a third party magazine or wholesaler.
